April Thompson

Social Worker

April Thompson is a dedicated social worker who helps older adults and their families navigate the challenges of aging, long-term care planning, and major life transitions.

She worked as a medical social worker at a hospice agency for four years, where she gained valuable insight into the experiences families face when making complex medical decisions for loved ones needing long-term care. Her advocacy, care coordination, and crisis intervention with community agencies helped secure much-needed elder care benefits and caregiver support.

As part of a collaborative elder law team, April provides compassionate guidance, practical support, and connections to community resources tailored to each client’s unique needs. Outside of work, April enjoys paddleboarding on the Snake River and spending time with friends and family.
